This past week also included an unexpected tragedy: RuPaul’s Drag Race Season 2 contestant Antoine Ashley (aka Sahara Davenport) passed away at age 27 from heart failure.

“Shocked and heartbroken over @SaharaDavenport,” RuPaul tweeted on October 2. “Never occurred to me that we'd ever lose one of my girls. I see them as immortal.”
