Celebrity Sibling Rivalry: It's All in the A-List Family (PHOTOS)

Dance pro Julianne Hough, 24, won two seasons of Dancing With the Stars before leaving the show in 2008 to pursue a singing and acting career. Her older brother Derek, 27, overlapped with Julianne for four seasons on the reality dance competition series (also as a dance pro), and he’s now a three-time winner. Julianne beat him in Season 5 (with partner Helio Castroneves), and Derek bested his younger sis in Season 7 (with partner Brooke Burke).

Back in 2008, Derek told SheKnows, “[Julianne] gets competitive with me and she’ll admit that. When I was on the TV show and she went with Helio [Castroneves], she said, ‘Yeah, I’m with Helio, but I beat my brother, so I’m excited!’”

Forget the Mirror Ball Trophy; facing off against your sibling is incentive enough to win!

But there’s no love lost between the two. When Derek left DWTS for a season to film the 2012 dance movie Cobu 3D, Julianne gushed to Access Hollywood, “I’m so excited for everybody to see [his] talents and everything else that he has to offer. I know how amazing he is!”
