Celebrity Sibling Rivalry: It's All in the A-List Family (PHOTOS)

Before Rooney Mara, 27, nabbed the role of a lifetime — Lisbeth Salander in The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo — and launched her Hollywood star in a major way, her older sister, Kate, 29, was already a fixture on the big screen. Best known for her star turns in Shooter and Transsiberian and her creeptastic recurring part on Ryan Murphy’s FX gem American Horror Story, Kate caught the acting bug first. But now Oscar-nominated Rooney is the one collecting high-profile roles left and right.

However, there’s no love lost between the two. Right before The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo premiered to rave reviews, Kate told the L.A. Times, “[Rooney] and I have never had that sort of competitive thing, thank God, because that would make it so much more difficult. It's definitely tricky; we're so close in age and we've been up for the same roles, but the positive side is so much greater. We're supportive and excited for each other.”

We wonder if she’s changed her tune since that interview...
