When Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Leading Role winner Jennifer Lawrence rose from her seat to claim her 2013 SAG award for Silver Linings Playbook, her Dior Haute Couture gown appeared to rip across her thighs.

Fortunately, it wasn’t nearly as bad as it looked. The tiered dress actually had a top half and a bottom half, both connected by a sheer lining, which was exposed when the two parts were somehow pulled in opposite directions.

Completely unfazed, J.Law later joked to Vogue, “It was supposed to do that, though. I planned it. I was concerned people would start talking about the award that I won, and my acting, so I thought I'd pull a stunt just to get things back to where they need to be.”
