Matt Bomer: Then and Now
Fun fact: Matt Bomer, 34, was in Joe Manganiello’s class at the Carnegie Mellon School of Drama. (We’re not sure if a BFA from that school is a prerequisite to having amazing abs, or if it’s just a happy coincidence.) Best known for playing con artist Neal Caffrey on USA’s White Collar, Matt got his start on the CBS soap opera Guiding Light, which led to roles on Tru Calling, Traveler, and Chuck. He appeared in the 2011 Justin Timberlake sci-fi thriller In Time, and he guest-starred on Season 3 of Glee as Blaine’s (Darren Criss) “famous,” self-centered older brother. Magic Mike is one of his first major movies.
Matt and his longtime partner, publicist Simon Halls, have three sons, all born via a surrogate.
