Evangeline Lilly Is Nearly Unrecognizable! See Her Dramatic Makeover (PHOTO)

Kate’s flowing brown hair was as much an iconic sight of Lost as the polar bears, Dharma logo, and Smoke Monster. OK, that might be a stretch, but we at least marveled at how beautifully frizz-free her locks looked in that humid climate on that groundbreaking sci-fi series.

But on the red carpet of the premiere for The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey in Wellington, New Zealand, yesterday (Nov. 27), the 33-year-old actress inspired a lot of double-takes with her the “shear” difference in hairstyles!
