After closet math genius Lindsay Weir was forced to hang up her oversize Army surplus jacket for good in 2000, the lovely Linda Cardellini went on to star in the live-action Scooby-Doo movies and Brokeback Mountain. She also played Nurse Samantha Taggart on ER from 2003 to 2009. You can also catch the actress on in the film Return, in which she delivers an understated, critically praised performance as an Ohio National Guard reservist who’s just come back from a tour of duty.

In an interview with Vulture about Return, Linda said, “Busy Phillips and I were talking — I’m about to have a baby, and she has a little girl — and she was like, ‘You know, someday we’re gonna have to show them Freaks and Geeks.’ And I thought, Oh my God, and I get high in that one episode! I don’t know if I can show that to my daughter!”

The 36-year-old actress and her boyfriend, Steven Rodriguez, welcomed their little girl, Lilah-Rose, on February 29, 2012.
