Katie Holmes filed for divorce from Tom Cruise in New York in late June, citing “irreconcilable differences.” The 33-year-old actress’s attorney told People magazine: “This is a personal and private matter for Katie and her family. Katie's primary concern remains, as it always has been, her daughter’s best interest.” A rep for the 50-year-old actor, who was filming the movie Oblivion in Iceland at the time, released a statement describing Tom as “deeply saddened.”
