How to Get on The Voice
1. Get a previous record deal under your belt. Apparently, that helps because the Season 1 and 2 champs both did!
2. Have a diverse catalog of songs to churn out. Viewers have short attention spans and get bored easily. What made America fall in love with you last week may bore them to death this week. (Remember James Massone? Exactly.)
3. Choose a mentor carefully. There are a lot of weeks between the auditions and the finale, so you've got to make sure you end up with a coach you can work well with.
