Taking to her social networking site, Little Monsters, Gaga posted these photos of herself posing in skimpy yellow underwear and inviting fans to do the same.
“Bulimia and anorexia since I was 15,” she captioned one photo. “But today I join the BODY REVOLUTION. To Inspire Bravery. and BREED some m$therf**king COMPASSION.”
On Little Monster’s discussion board, Gaga thanked fans for remaining supportive.
“I have been startled and overwhelmed with pride and emotion the past few days,” she wrote. “My weight/loss/gain since I was a child has tormented me. No amount of help has ever healed my pain about it. But YOU have. My boyfriend prefers me curvier, when I eat and am healthy and not so worried about my looks, I’m happy. Happier than I’ve ever been.”
Despite talk of going on a strict diet to shed some pounds, the “Born This Way” singer sounds sincerely comfortable in her own skin these days.
