The two broke up in 2007. Talan had a few small acting roles including the movie American High School, which also featured Alex Murrel.

It seems Talan may have (finally) grown up and landed a big boy job. According to his LinkedIn page, Talan is the Social Media Editor for FishBowl Worldwide Media, Inc. Before that he headed up TalanT Media Group for more than three years. According to its website, TalanT Media Group is a privately held web design and social media marketing agency based in L.A.
