Dieter was Stephen Colletti and Lauren Conrad’s very loyal friend. Though Dieter loved them both, he was often put in the middle, and always seemed to side with LC. He also dated Jessica (pre-drama), but fortunately they broke things off before she went super crazy in Season 2.

After Jason Wahler stole Jessica from him, Dieter was quick to defend Lauren’s honor when she started dating Jason at the end of Season 2. When Jason was spotted kissing Jessica in front of Lauren, Dieter forced him to stay away from LC. Sigh, if only LC had listened to Dieter when she moved to L.A.
