Matthew McConaughey Packs on the Pounds After Shocking 47-Pound Drop (PHOTOS)

Matthew McConaughey has looked unnervingly gaunt in recent months — let’s just call it a Failure to Lunch — but only because he was filming the upcoming drama Dallas Buyers Club, in which Matt portrays real-life AIDS patient and self-medicator Ron Woodroof.

But when he hit the slopes of Park City, Utah, on January 19 for this year’s Sundance Film Festival to promote his new drama Mud, Matthew was looking more like his former self. EW.com reports that he’s regained about half of the 47 pounds he lost.
