With their commitment ceremony just around the corner, Kevin (Matthew Rhys) learned that Scotty’s (Luke Macfarlane) parents weren’t going to attend because they didn’t believe in same-sex marriage. In a touching gesture, he went to visit them and try to convince them to support Scotty. Although they didn’t change their minds, Scotty’s father did give Kevin the cufflinks he wore on his own wedding day to give to his son. Not quite what we hoped for, but at least Scotty had someone as wonderful as Kevin by his side.
