The Housewives rarely shock us, but we were genuinely surprised to learn that Paul Nassif filed for a separation from Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Adrienne Maloof, his wife of nine years, on July 30.

As if impending divorce weren't depressing enough, poor Adrienne had to grieve her relationship's demise while watching fellow Housewife Lisa Vanderpump renew her wedding vows with her hubby of 29 years, Ken Todd. Ouch.
