Famous SNL Alumni: Chris Farley
SNL Stint: In 1990, Chris Farley joined SNL and became part of the “Bad Boys of SNL,” a group that included big names like Adam Sandler, Chris Rock, and David Spade. Legend has it that he and Adam really were naughty and frequently made prank calls from the NBC building. They were fired from the show in 1995. Clearly, it was SNL’s loss.
Post-SNL Career Highlights: Before leaving the show, Chris had already had roles in high-profile movies, so it wasn’t a surprise that his post-SNL films Tommy Boy and Black Sheep were hits. Sadly, he died in 1997.
