SNL Stint: Talented Tina Fey was SNL’s first female head writer. She worked on the show from 1997 to 2006 and even found time to pen Mean Girls in the midst of it all.
Post-SNL Career Highlights: Tina used her experiences on SNL to inspire another successful project — NBC’s sitcom 30 Rock, a series about the cast, creators, and crew of a live comedy show. Her work has earned her multiple Emmy Awards, Golden Globes, Screen Actors Guild Awards, and Writers Guild of America Awards. She also penned a hilarious autobiography, Bossypants, that topped the New York Times Best Seller List for five weeks. Basically,Tina is a legend.
