Mario Lopez: A.C. Slater
The parachute pants and mullet may be things of his Saved by the Bell past (for good reason), but Mario Lopez still has a killer bod — and career. The Extra and X Factor host has emceed everything from Miss Teen USA, Miss America, and Miss Universe to Kim’s Fairytale Wedding to America’s Next Best Dance Crew. He competed on Season 3 of Dancing With the Stars in 2006, ultimately coming in second with then-girlfriend Karina Smirnoff, and he’s enjoyed runs on Pacific Blue (1998-2000), The Bold and the Beautiful (2006), and Nip/Tuck (2009-2010).
Mario’s less impressive efforts include the recently cancelled CW flop H8R and Animal Planet’s Pet Star. (OK, the latter was pretty cute, but Mario as host just never made sense.) Another spectacular disaster? His marriage to Ali Landry. Two weeks after tying the knot in Puerto Vallarta in April 2004, the couple filed for an annulment when Ali learned about an unsavory “incident” that occurred during Mario’s bachelor party weekend down in Mexico. Oops.
But the past is the past. Mario and his then-fiancée, Broadway dancer Courtney Mazza, welcomed daughter Gia on September 11, 2010, chronicling everything on the VH1 reality show Mario Lopez: Saved by the Baby. (We see what they did there. Real clever.) Mario and Courtney married in Punta Mita, Mexico, on December 1, 2012.
