We’re not saying it’s a bad thing, but there are tons of metrosexual men in Hollywood. Thankfully, we’ve got guys like Taylor Kitsch to break up the monotony. The sexy and scruffy star first won our hearts as rebellious, big-hearted Tim Riggins on NBC’s Friday Night Lights.

He’s since gone on to make a name for himself as a silver screen action star, and this year is set to be his biggest yet. John Carter may have been a spectacular bust, but his second blockbuster, Battleship, is already an overseas success. Now that it’s hit U.S. theaters, we get a taste of the action. Although high-octane movies aren’t always our thing, we’re willing to make exceptions for Taylor — especially when we know he’s going to be shirtless!
