Now that the holidays are rolling around again, we’ve started to look back at our lives and think about what 2012 meant to us. Obviously, we love celebrities — sometimes in a slightly unhealthy, somewhat obsessive, SWF sorta way, where we wish we were them a little bit.

But just as we look at our lives and wonder how things ended up this way, we’ve also been thinking a lot about how some of our favorite celebrities turned things around — for better or worse. And because it’s been kind of a weird year, we’re giving you a hodgepodge roundup of some of the best transformations in all areas of life, and a couple terrible turnarounds too.
