Her close friendship with Heidi Montag disintegrated after Spencer Pratt got involved, and she had her heart broken several times — first by Jason Wahler then Brody Jenner. Now: Lauren left the show in its fifth season, turning things over to former rival Kristin Cavallari. Her final episode was the one in which Heidi and Spencer got married (for the second time); Lauren surprised audiences by actually showing up and seeming supportive.

Today LC is the best-selling author of the L.A. Candy series and the designer behind the clothing line Paper Crown. She runs the website LaurenConrad.com, and she released her latest book, The Fame Game, in April 2012. Her current boyfriend, USC law student William Tell, looks a lot like her old boyfriends.
