TV Shows You Never Knew Were Spin-Offs (PHOTOS)

Spin-offs get a bad rap, and not without reason. After all, they’re usually a network’s lazy attempt to milk a cash cow show with great ratings for all it’s worth.

The problem is that the spin-offs usually suck. They can even tarnish the original that we all thought was so great! But, every once in a while, there’s one so good, we actually forget it was spawned by another show. These eight shows are (or were) fantastic in their own right, but they aren’t originals — they’re spin-offs.
