American Idol: Adam Lambert
Although Adam Lambert didn’t officially come out as a contestant on Season 8 of American Idol, he opened up to Rolling Stone about his sexuality a few weeks after the finale. Adam wasn’t trying to hide anything — he’s a proud advocate of gay rights — he just wanted the audience to focus on his music instead of his personal life. Still, there was plenty of speculation!
