Judge Judy has been ruling the courtroom with an iron fist on her titular syndicated show for the last 16 years, but she’s always hidden behind that bulky bench and her shapeless robe, so we never would have guessed how beach-ready her body is.

But Katie Couric got a tip that Judy had celebrated her 70th birthday in the Bahamas by fulfilling a longtime goal: stepping out in a bikini. So when Judy appeared on Katie, the talk show host projected the photo for the world to see.
