After his breakout role in the beloved Christmas comedy, Peter Billingsley continued to act, appearing in a string of TV shows throughout the 1980s and early ’90s.

A close pal of and collaborator with Jon Favreau and Vince Vaughn, Peter has either appeared in, executive produced, or directed several of their movies — including Elf, The Break-Up, Iron Man, Four Christmases, and Couples Retreat.

Politico reports that Peter and Vince’s production company, Wild West Productions, has teamed up with Glenn Beck (yup, that Glenn Beck) to launch a reality show called The Pursuit of Truth on Beck’s network, TheBlazeTV, in spring 2013. The competition series will pit 20 documentary filmmakers against one another for a grand prize of a leg-shaped lamp financing and distribution.
