Don’t Trust the B---- in Apartment 23’s James Van Der Beek, who plays a vapid version of himself on the ABC sitcom, is making a guest appearance on How I Met Your Mother’s final installment of the four-part Robin Sparkles saga.

The actor posted this photo on January 11, joking, “Does this mirror make me look fat & balding? #HIMYM”

Also making cameos on the February 4 episode are Alan Thicke, Paul Shaffer, Jason Priestley, Alex Trebek, K. D. Lang, and several others. The last time James was on the show, he played Simon, Robin’s first boyfriend who also appeared in her “Sandcastles in the Sand” music video.
