Who Is Katy Perry With Right Now? The Singer’s Real and Rumored Boyfriends (PHOTOS)

Katy first met future ex-husband Russell Brand in summer 2009, when she shot a cameo — involving a little makeout sesh — for his movie Get Him to the Greek. The cameo was cut, but her crush on Russell persisted. She and the British funnyman started getting hot-’n’-heavy in September 2009 after the MTV VMAs, and Russell proposed only a few months later. The couple tied the knot in a lavish Hindu ceremony in Rajasthan, India, on October 23, 2010.

But their marriage wasn’t meant to be: Russell filed for divorce on December 30, 2011 — just one month after dismissing rumors of marital strife on The Ellen DeGeneres Show. In a statement to the press, he said, “Sadly, Katy and I are ending our marriage. I'll always adore her and I know we'll remain friends.”

Katy doesn’t necessarily reciprocate his continuing adoration. She debuted an emotionally charged breakup anthem at the 2012 Grammy Awards (the hit single “Part of Me”), and she hopped back on the dating wagon with a French model (see next slide). Ooh la la! In late May she followed up “Part of Me” with another breakup-themed single, “Wide Awake.”

Russell, who was quite the womanizer before marrying Katy, has apparently gone back to his old ways, jumping from one model to the next since the split.
