Josh Hartnett accidentally got people talking on October 18, 2007, during an appearance on The Morning Show with Mike and Juliet, when he was asked about a supposed makeout sesh with Rihanna. Flustered, Josh replied (via People), "Whoa, whoa, whoa... No, no, no... C'mon you guys... This is, uh, we weren't supposed to talk about these things were we?"

His lack of composure may have added fuel to the fire, but Rihanna settled matters once and for all in the January 2008 issue of Allure (via People): "He and my management, they have each other's contact information. I went to [the New York club] Pink Elephant, and he came by. All of a sudden, the next day, I'm seeing that we were kissing and hugging up each other."

She continued, "You can't even go out with a friend who's a celebrity and have a good time without people making [bleep] up. Well, at least he's good-looking, right?"

It could be worse. A helluva lot worse.
