Back From the Dead: The Most Shocking Resurrections From the 2011-2012 TV Season

House proved it could master shocking deaths when it killed off Kutner (Kal Penn) and Amber (Anne Dudek) seasons ago. In the series finale, we see these two characters make a comeback from the dead. Not only do Kutner and Amber return to confront House (Hugh Laurie) — along with some other non-dead ghosts from House's past — we are convinced House has already died in a burning building. But alas! House's imagined conversations with former friends and colleagues spark a change in him, inspiring him to pull himself out of death's arms to safety. Of course, House pulls a minor revival himself when it's revealed that he faked his own death and the coffin Wilson (Robert Sean Leonard) eulogizes over doesn’t contain his bestie’s body at all.
