We, the media, and you, the public, are positively obsessed with celebrity relationships. And who could blame us?

Some of our favorite celebrity relationships are composed of current or former co-stars. Hollywood sets are hotbeds for love and sex. And why not? With hot actors hanging out for hours on time during the filming of a movie or TV show, flirtation and romance is bound to bloom.

For example, life imitated art with Glee lovebirds Lea Michele and Cory Monteith and True Blood star-crossed lovers Anna Paquin and Stephen Moyer. Meanwhile, the Gossip Girl set was just as sex-crazed as the show itself, apparently, as Penn Badgley hooked up with Blake Lively, Ed Westwick wooed Jessica Szohr, and Leighton Meester romanced Sebastian Stan.

As for the big-screen side of Hollywood, the Slumdog Millionaire got the girl in the end in real life, too, as Dev Patel and Freida Pinto are still an item. The only good thing about Daredevil is that it introduced Ben Affleck to future wife Jennifer Garner, who also had a romance with Alias co-star Michael Vartan. (Ben, meanwhile, had a fling with Gigli co-star Jennifer Lopez, but let’s say no more about that travesty.) And speaking of superheroes, the Amazing Spider-Man himself, Andrew Garfield, snagged co-star Emma Stone in his web.

But the most famous example of this phenomenon is Cleopatra’s Elizabeth Taylor and Richard Burton. Oh, wait. Wrong generation. Let’s go with Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie of Mr. & Mrs. Smith. Still too old? Fine, let’s go with Twilight’s Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart.

Who says that true love doesn’t exist, anyway?
