The would-be daddy has reportedly entered the pregnancy conversation. Rumors have been flying that Beyonce is pregnant with her — and Jay-Z's — second child.
Page Six quoted sources "confirming" the news, then on Friday, E! News quoted their own sources "confirming" the pregnancy. Bey and Jay’s buddy Russell Simmons even tweeted congrats. Then Beyonce supposedly shared some Instagram photo bashing rumors, possibly bashing the pregnancy rumor itself or maybe just the renewed talk about hiring a surrogate.
However, a New York radio station director said he e-mailed Jay-Z with congratulations and the rapper responded by saying the pregnancy news was not true. Hot 97 Program Director Ebro Darden, aka Old Man Ebro, said, "I emailed on some congratulations, send my love to the family, blah, blah, blah. He emailed me back and said it's not true." Ebro said he got his e-mail response on Saturday afternoon and it simply said, "It's not true. The news is worse than blogs."
We've been hoping the pregnancy news was true, not just for Bey and Jay to expand their family but because it's pretty awkward to have people staring at your belly, making assumptions about a bump, and having "insiders" tell people you're pregnant even if it’s true. It’s much worse if it’s false!
What do you make of this? We’ll just have to wait for an official announcement, if it’s true, and just wait for the rumors to die off if it’s really false. Eek...
