The nightmare continues for a certain bakery that was featured on Gordon Ramsay's show, Kitchen Nightmares.
Amy's Baking Company is facing a lawsuit and death threats as it moves forward in its planned reopening on May 21, according to Radar Online.
The bakery was featured on the May 10 episode of Kitchen Nightmares, and viewers saw Gordon refuse to help the establishment's owners after accusing them of stealing tips from staff and cursing at customers.
As they prep for this week's grand reopening, the owners are hiring new employees, and one stipulation is that the employees haven't seen the infamous episode.
“New employees have not seen the episode of the show,” a source reveals. “The owners didn’t want new employees to have a preconceived idea of what it was like to work at Amy’s Baking Company. They wanted fresh people in who had no idea what to expect.”
Meanwhile, owners Amy and Samy Bouzaglo have received various online death threats and have been threatened with a $200,000 lawsuit if they don't stop bad-mouthing the show.
These issue have led the owners to cancel a planned press conference that was to promote their reopening. However, they are hiring a new PR company to advise them on how to proceed.
Long story short: We do not envy this bakery's PR people.
