A certain reality star is going to great lengths to stay lean.
Splash star Katherine Webb shockingly tells People that she only eats about 1,120 calories per day.
The 5'11" former Miss Alabama gives her typical daily diet, and it's about 600 calories below what she should be eating each day, experts say.
"I try my hardest not to even consider getting something like pasta," the 24-year-old Katherine says. "It’s all about self-control."
She says her average day involves a breakfast of a homemade smoothie with strawberries, banana, protein powder, and almond milk, followed by a snack of a green apple and lunch of a spinach salad with almond slices, strawberries, tangerines, and fat-free balsamic vinaigrette dressing.
Then, she'll have a Weight Watchers Strawberry Smoothie frozen yogurt bar as a snack, followed by dinner of grilled chicken fingers with fat-free honey mustard and sweet potato fries.
Haylie Pomroy, author of The Fast Metabolism Diet, says, "Katherine does an amazing job of eating three meals a day and two snacks," but since she works out three times a week, "she could add at least 600 more calories" a day.
There's no doubt that Katherine's diet is on the stringent side, especially for someone who's as lean as she is. Like, does she really need to be eating Weight Watchers products?
If you ask us, Katherine should let go and at least indulge in some pasta now and then.
