Chris Brown may seem to get off easy for a lot of his bad behavior, but it looks like things may finally be catching up to the troubled singer.
TMZ reports that Chris is being investigated by the LAPD after being involved in a fender-bender last week and being less than charitable when it came to giving his info to the other driver.
Perhaps he didn’t realize that his highly recognizable face, the paparazzi cameras constantly following him, or that giant tattoo of something that’s totally not a bruised-up woman on his neck, would give the other driver a good idea of who he was, but Chris allegedly decided not to show the other driver his license. He also reportedly ponied up fake insurance details.
While this could have been yet another consequence-free act in the never-ending tantrum that is Breezy’s life, he’s still on probation for beating the hell out of Rihanna, so he’s supposed to remain on the right side of the law for a while. With the details of his less-than-forthcoming nature after the fender-bender coming to light, the LAPD has launched an investigation. If he’s found guilty of leaving the scene of the accident illegally, he could face up to four years in prison.
A word to the wise — ”Don’t Judge Me” is about as good a song as it is a defense.
