The Glades returns to A&E tonight at 9 PM/8 Central, but we can hardly wait for the wacky drama to return. Thankfully, we’ve got spoilers!
The question on everyone’s lips from last season remains: Did Callie say yes to Jim’s proposal?
Kiele Sanchez, who plays Callie, admitted, “You don't actually get to see my answer.”
The show, which skips a bit in time from the end of Season 3 to the beginning of Season 4, will show give viewers some relief, though.
Kiele cryptically revealed, “I think that [Jim] understands Callie probably better than everyone else around him does. I think everyone else around them are a little nervous that she is mulling it over or has any hesitation. And, I think that he believes in them and I think also trusts her and her process.”
So what else can fans expect?
According to The Wrap, the season will be chock-full of new semi-supernatural twists, including a Scooby-Doo inspired episode and one based on Miami’s allegedly bath salts-induced “zombie” attack.
On the human drama side of things, we’ll get to meet Danielle’s brother, explore Carlos’ Cuban heritage, and see the relationship between Callie and her son, Jeff, evolve. "You’re definitely going to know that I do love [mom Callie] and I do care about her and I put her before me," revealed Uriah Shelton, who plays Jeff. "So, you’re going to see a more sensitive and nicer relationship develop between us, at least so far, I hope."
As for what we’re all really wondering about, there will still be plenty of sexy storylines peppered throughout the series.
Jennifer will no longer be a love interest for Jim — and neither will most other girls — another possible hint that Jim is off the market this season.
Matt Passmore, who plays the FDLE detective, revealed, “I made [the producers] promise at the end of last season, I was like, 'No more women,'" he said. "Let's get down to it. Let's start exploring some relationship stuff. Rather than just 'Oh, watch out, because I might fall for this person."
But, perhaps the strangest news is the possibility of an operation that takes the officers into the world of strip clubs.
So will we see Jim strip down? Only time will tell. "The horrible thing about a beer gut is it shows through no matter what,” he hinted.
