Remember when we were all speculating about whether Miley's song with Snoop, "Ashtrays and Heartbreaks," is about smoking pot? She never explicitly says that it is, but it seems like Miley has totally echoed our thoughts when we heard the song during a recent interview with Rolling Stone.
"I did a song with Snoop Dogg called 'Ashtrays and Heartbreaks,' so people can put it together for themselves," she says, still not quite admitting to being a fan of the herb, but not really denying it, either. "I think alcohol is way more dangerous than marijuana – people can be mad at me for saying that, but I don't care. I've seen a lot of people spiral down with alcohol, but I've never seen that happen with weed."
"As long as it isn't illegal, there are far more dangerous things. And it's legal in the state of California. So I'm happy to live in California," she says, coming close to speaking directly before, again, cleverly backing off, "a place where you can be whoever you want to be."
As for whether "We Can't Stop" mentions molly, a form of ecstasy? "I have an accent! So when I say 'Miley,' it must sound like 'molly,'" she responds.
The full interview with Miley will be in the July issue of Rolling Stone.
