Now that Kim Kardashian's baby is born, we're just waiting on the summer's other much-hyped celebrity baby: the royal heir! We've got new details on how we'll find out that Pregnant Kate Middleton and Prince William have welcomed their first child, and the announcement will have a flair for the dramatic!

An aide at St. James Palace reveals to Us Weekly the sequence of events. First the declaration of birth will be printed and signed by staff at St. Mary's Hospital. Then it will be escorted by police to Buckingham Palace, hastily framed, and then displayed just behind the Palace gates, propped up on a wood-and-gold easel.

The certificate will bear the future king or queen's time of birth, weight, and gender. The name, however, will come later.

For the record, there is precedent for all this pomp: The same was done for Prince William's birth in 1982!

Yes, for all of us 21st-century folk, the news will be broadcast over the interwebs, but only after the big reveal at the Palace gates.

"Although an electronic release will go out, we want there to be a degree of theater about the birth announcement," a representative at the Palace tells the mag. "This is the birth of the third in line to the throne, so it is very important. It is an extremely important occasion."
