Is Robert Pattinson still in the running to play Christian in Fifty Shades of Grey? In other words, perhaps dreams really do come true.
There was fuel added to the Fifty Shades of Grey casting fire as the book's author, E.L. James, attended a party at Rob's house over the weekend, according to Hollywood Life.
E.L. was among a variety of notable guests at Rob's Great Gatsby-themed party to celebrate Arbitrage director Nicholas Jarecki's 34th birthday. And it sounds like an amazing party, old sport.
Also in attendance were Warren Beatty, musician Dianne Warren, and author Bret Easton Ellis.
So is this a sign that Rob is in talks to play Christian Grey in the highly anticipated movie adaptation? After all, the film now has a director, so its safe to say that we'll be hearing about casting news any day now.
E.L. had previously said she wanted to distance Fifty Shades — which started out as Twilight fan-fiction — from Twilight by not casting anyone from that film series. But you never know!
And speaking of Twilight, one person who sadly was not in attendance at the party was Rob's ex, Kristen Stewart. So many sighs.
So would you be thrilled to see Rob play Christian, or will that make you fit to be tied?
