Never a dull moment in Alec Baldwin's house!

As the sun now stands, Alec's Twitter is gone (again) after a new rant against a reporter who made accusations about his wife. Alec and his pregnant wife, Hilaria Thomas, attended James Gandolfini's funeral on June 27, and a Daily Mail story emerged afterward alleging that Hilaria sent some tweets during the proceedings.

Here's part of the story (via CNN): "The pregnant yoga instructor's social media feed was full of upbeat posts while 'The Sopranos' star's friends, family and co-stars were gripped with grief at a New York Catholic church. Messages included a request for ideas about wedding anniversary presents and promotional notes about her upcoming appearance on the Rachael Ray show."

Here are some of Alec's now-deleted tweets, in response: "My wife and I attend a funeral to pay our respects to an old friend, and some toxic Brit writes this f****** trash. ... My wife DID NOT use her phone, in any capacity, at our friends funeral." He threatened to find the story's writer and "f****...you...up," calling him a "toxic little queen."

Hilaria's account is still active, and she wrote several posts on the issue as well: "FYI I don't believe in bringing phones into a funeral and I never did and I never would ... I don't know what hurts more: people randomly and maliciously writing lies about you, or the people who actually believe them ... Here is some info... When someone tweets something at a certain time, and you retweet it later, it posts the TIME the first person tweeted ... My husband fights for me fiercely. It hurts to be misunderstood and it hurts to see your loved one in pain-even more so when she is pregnant ... Today was supposed to be about remembering a friend, loving each other, treasuring life, & moving fwd w more appreciation for our fragility."

She also retweeted some followers's messages of support and explanation, including, "Twitter converts timestamps into your time zone. @hilariabaldwin was in East, reporter in Pacific" and "Daily Mail might owe @HilariaBaldwin an apology. The smoothie tweet they say was at 847am was actually 1147am."

It's always good when people have your back, especially when you're wrongly accused, but calling someone a "toxic little queen" is rarely the best approach. Still, props to Hilaria for standing up for herself with class.
