Goddess-on-Earth Oprah Winfrey is about to bring us everyone's new favorite thing on TV: a reality show following Lindsay Lohan's life post-rehab.
Oprah's working relationship with the notoriously troubled star will start with an exclusive interview after she's freed up in August, with a 2014 8-episode docu-series to follow on Oprah's OWN cable network.
The series will follow Lindsay as she attempts to rebuild her career and stay healthy. Theoretically, she'll get out of rehab on July 31.
“OWN will air an exclusive interview with Oprah and Lindsay Lohan that will tape and air in August and an eight-part documentary series with Lindsay for 2014,” OWN confirmed to Entertainment Weekly.
Get thee to your cable boxes, for we must all make sure to have OWN before next year!
While many have tried to squeeze a reality series out of Lindsay in the past, she has turned down every request until now. Her famously and troublingly messy family had a short-lived series, Living Lohan, in 2008.
Maybe she's trying to solidify some accountability in her recovery? Either way, we're stoked to watch it happen.
Lindsay has been recovering in rehab while her guest-star appearances on Glee and Anger Management aired. She starred in the bottle-throwingly awesome Lifetime biopic Liz & Dick, and stars opposite James Deen in Paul Schrader's upcoming Bret Easton Ellis-penned film,The Canyons.
