It turns out we aren't the only ones who want a glimpse of the soon-to-arrive royal baby already.
Pregnant Kate Middleton is set to deliver her baby any day now, and it turns out that Queen Elizabeth would like it to happen sooner rather than later, according to People.
The 87-year-old monarch was speaking to children this week in Cumbria, England, when she pointed out that she hopes Kate gives birth before she herself leaves on a trip.
"I would very much like it to arrive," Queen Elizabeth says about the little one. "I'm going on holiday. No sign yet."
Don't worry, Queen E — you aren't the only ones who can't wait for the baby to get here. We're freaking out with anticipation!
As for which gender she is hoping Kate has, the monarch remained diplomatic.
"I don't think I mind," Queen Elizabeth says. Good answer!
Kate's official due date is said to be today, so neither us nor Queen Elizabeth should probably have to wait too much longer.
