It's not like there's a rule out there on when you're supposed to start getting busy. It's a very personal choice. However, a lot of girls face pressure to do the deed before they're comfortable. Tamera Mowry — famous for the '90s show Sister, Sister and now on Tia & Tamera with her twin sister — just opened up on her first sexual experience.
"I don't know how to explain this. I'm religious, so I waited until I was 29 to lose my virginity," Tamera told HOT97NY (via E! News). "You may not understand this. I did it, but then I felt guilty, then I became celibate until I got married."
Tamera, now 35, married Fox News Correspondent Adam Housley in May 2011. They welcomed their son Aden in November 2012. She said she picked up experience quickly, so it's not like she's less skilled in that area now.
Tamera's The Real co-star Adrienne Bailon was also on the radio show and she jumped in to support Tamera. "Just because you only had sex with one person doesn't mean you're not a freak, and I think that that's a good thing," Adrienne said. "I think people think that you could only be a freak by doing it with a bunch of people. You can be a freak and just be a freak with one person. That is beautiful and dope."
It's also beautiful and dope even if you're not a "freak" in the bedroom, and just choose to share that part of your life with the one person you love. What do you think? Do you applaud Tamera for speaking out, or is this TMI territory?
