It looks like the Amanda Bynes rollercoaster may be coming to an abrupt halt, but it's not just because her parents are back in the picture that the star is finally getting the help she needs.
The former All That star's parents, Rick and Lynn Bynes, filed for a temporary conservatorship of their 27-year-old daughter, claiming that Amanda is "extremely paranoid about being watched," going so far as to tape and cover her windows and smoke detectors to prevent potential peepers.
According to TMZ, Amanda's also running out of cash at an alarming rate.
While Amanda proudly announced in the past that she's "an educated multi-millionaire," it looks as though that won't last for long, thanks to her over-the-top spending habits. Her parents allege that she blew through $1.2 million recently, spending $100,000 on June 4 and an additional $100,000 on July 2 alone.
Although nobody's certain where all the money has gone, Rick and Lynn think a "substantial amount" was spent on drugs.
Amanda's psych hold has just been extended for another two weeks, so, with any luck, they'll get to the bottom of her issues while she still has enough in the bank for a good shrink, a new place to stay, and maybe even a consult with Nicki Minaj's wig guy.
