It looks like Oprah Winfrey's about to find out just how hard it is to get Lindsay Lohan to arrive anywhere on time — even her own house.
The troubled star, who recently signed on for an 8-part miniseries with Oprah's OWN network detailing her day-to-day post-rehab life, may not be ready for her close-up quite as soon as producers may hope.
Lindsay has been given the all-clear to leave treatment on Wednesday but she's allegedly attempting to extend her stay a bit longer.
TMZ reports that Lindsay is hoping to use the step-down approach before fully immersing herself in the world of sex, drugs, and Bret Easton Ellis movies she's used to, so she's requesting to stay in a sober living facility for an additional three or four days.
While folks seem to grow more and more skeptical of Lindsay after each failed rehab attempt (and who can blame them?), sources close to the star claim that this time, she's really made a 180.
"It's like invasion of the body snatchers," revealed the insider. "She's a different person."
Following her release from rehab, Lindsay plans to return to New York City, where she'll start work on her new reality show.
Do you think she has a real shot at getting sober this time?
