We're used to seeing tempers flare among Gordon Ramsay's protégés on MasterChef, but this blows the chef's hot-headed antics out of the water.
TMZ reports that MasterChef finalist Josh Marks was arrested by Chicago police on Monday after they spotted him trying to make a call on a University of Chicago emergency phone.
A cop first approached Josh to see if he could help him and soon noticed that Josh's face was covered in lacerations. When the cop moved closer, Josh attacked him, punching the cop and attempting to grab his gun.
Two other police officers made it to the scene and attempted to slow Josh down with pepper spray and a few hits with a baton, but he managed to get away from them. The cops finally caught up with the 7'2" chef on a nearby residential property, where they restrained him.
Josh was transported to a hospital, where he blamed Gordon Ramsay for his behavior, calling the celebrity chef an "a—hole" who had turned him into God.
While there was, surprisingly, no evidence that Josh was on drugs, doctors did find bullet fragments in his face.
He faces up to 14 years in prison for aggravated battery and attempting to disarm an officer of the peace.
