With the epic conclusion of Breaking Bad inching closer and closer, fans are gearing up for a finale and anticipating how the end will play out for Walter White and the gang.
Betsy Brandt, who plays Marie Schrader on Breaking Bad, spoke out about the finale, offering fans a sigh of relief when it comes to the big ending.
"The first thing I said to Vince after I read the very last episode, I said, 'This is the perfect ending for this show,'" she told The Huffington Post. "I was so happy with what he did for everybody, but I expected nothing less. He and all the writers are just amazing."
Betsy is the first to admit that when she heard the final season would only consist of 2 half-seasons at 8 episodes each, she was surprised. "And at first, honestly, I was like, '16? 16? There's so much to wrap up you've got to give us at least 20,'" she exclaimed. "But they made it seem like 16 was ideal."
With only 8 episodes left of a show notorious for throwing a ton of craziness at viewers all at once, we're bracing ourselves for a jam-packed marathon. When asked if viewers will be bombarded with action in the finale episodes, Betsy assured everyone, "It's all very real and true and honest to the show."
She said creator Vince Gilligan hasn't been paying attention to what people are saying on social media. He wants to write what he feels would actually be going on with the characters in the world that is Breaking Bad.
