Another hot (and talented) guy is coming to Supernatural!
According to The Hollywood Reporter, sci-fi stalwart Tahmoh Penikett of Battlestar Galactica, Dollhouse, Continuum, and Arrow will have a recurring role on Supernatural Season 9, which premieres October 8 on The CW.
Tahmoh, 38, will first appear right on the premiere, and he’ll play Ezekiel — described as a "dignified warrior angel injured in the Fall" that happened on the Season 8 finale.
Tahmoh shared his excitement about joining the cast, tweeting praise for stars Jensen Ackles and Jared Padalecki: "So much love about the #Supernatural announcement, thanks u so much! Had a great time with @jarpad & #JensenAckles! Talented & humble leads!"
Welcome aboard! Are you happy to see Tahmoh join the cast? Do you think he could stick around for a while?
Also, while we're talking Season 9 scoop, E! News just shared this spoiler on August 7: "Prepare for flashbacks to the ‘30s in episode four, which is titled 'Slumber Party.' In the same episode, we'll meet a young new hunter named Dorothy who is from a very far away land that is supposed to be fictional. Key words there: supposed to be." Interesting!
