Zetus lafetus! The former Disney star who caused havoc in space as the title character in Zenon: Girl of the 21st Century is expecting her first child with husband Brandon Barash.

Kirsten, who now plays feisty Maxie Jones on General Hospital, met Brandon on the set of GH where he starred as Johnny Zacchara until leaving the show last April. The two wed in June 2013 and just announced to People Magazine that they’re expecting a new addition next year.

“We’re having a little girl in January,” Brandon told the magazine. “It’s been the most amazing couple of months of our lives.”

But it hasn’t all been easy for the young couple. Because of Kirsten’s battle with the gynecological condition endometriosis, the couple figured their chances of conceiving were “pretty bleak,” Brandon explained. Kirsten started hormone therapy and, after a fateful trip to Amsterdam, the couple discovered they were expecting.

“We calculated that we conceived the baby in [General Hospital star] Tony Geary’s guest room!” Brandon added. Hope you washed the sheets, Tony.

The couple waited to share the good news because of a “rocky” first trimester that had Kirsten “in and out of the hospital.” Thankfully, though, she’s doing much better as her pregnancy progresses.

The only thing that could make this announcement even more stellar is if Protozoa releases a new hit for his supernova girl. Working title: “Zoom Zoom Womb.”
