Does Kendra Wilkinson just want to be a Girl Next Door again?

Kendra and her NFL star husband Hank Baskett got married in June 2009 and welcomed their son Hank at the end of the same year. They recently told Wetpaint Entertainment they're ready for baby number two, but they seem unsure of whether they want to do it as a traditional family unit.

In a trailer for the new season of Kendra on Top on WE tv (premieres September 13), the couple discuss an open marriage. "I shouldn't even be married," Kendra says. Hank says they could "just be single and live together." Kendra seems into the idea. "So you're asking for an open relationship? I've been waiting for this day my whole life!"

Kendra later runs into an ex-boyfriend at the gym and that seems to lead back into the debate. "You're the one who brought up open marriage," she says. Hanks replies, "You're the one who took off with it.” Later, Kendra says, "If I want to have one night of freedom, I'm going to do it. I'm a grown a*s woman." There's a lot of marriage and health drama in the preview, so watch it here.

When talking to Wetpaint, Kendra said her biggest piece of advice for people that are married and have kids is you have to separate the two. "You have to remember that you are husband and wife as much as you are parents, as much as you are mother and father. And once your child is asleep, once your child is in preschool, you are a wife, a husband. You are an adult. You can do adult things while your child is not with you, and don't feel guilty about it. We're in a new age now. Have fun, go to a day pool club here. It's just fun."

Kendra said it took her three years to find the balance. "Hank and I just went on a trip to Big Bear — on a lake — and it was extremely fun. We did [wakeboarding]. We did a lot of lake sports ... and by the end of the trip, we looked at each other in our eyes, and we said — not drunk — to each other, 'We're ready for baby number two.' And that is what comes out of balance … knowing we want to bring this new life into our world. We have this new love for each other after spending a week together in Big Bear. We have this new love. We have this new energy. We want to bring a new life in together."

Read the full Wetpaint story for details on Kendra’s plan to do things differently the second time. We're guessing she and Hank decide against the open marriage idea and stick to the traditional marriage plan. But … whatever works for the couple?
