Today is a good day for Chris Brown! Today is a really, really good day for Chris Brown.

For starters, he woke up and remembered he was Chris Brown and that pretty much none of his behavior has consequences, so, whoopee! Secondly, he discovered that he won’t be charged in an attack that he allegedly perpetrated in June.

TMZ reports that the Anaheim City Attorney has thrown out 24-year-old Deanna Gines’ case against Chris, citing a lack of evidence.

Deanna had originally claimed that she was partying at Orange County hotspot Heat Ultra Lounge, minding her own business, when Hurricane Chris violently pushed her, causing her to tear ligaments in her knee.

Chris and the owner of the club denied that the incident ever happened, stating that Deanna had tried to climb onstage while Chris was performing and gotten herself kicked out, but Deanna stuck to her story, even after video was released of her walking around without a limp or any hint of pain following the alleged attack.

Deanna then kept on digging that hole she was so intent on burying herself in by suing Chris for $25,000 after publicly stating that she had no financial motive behind her claims and only was only asking for an apology from the star. While her case has already been thrown out, she is still reportedly trying to get some cash for her suffering, because this chick just loves spending money on legal fees.

Luckily, staying out of jail frees Chris up to continue performing  his community service, in which he teaches children how to make effective use of expletive-filled rants on Twitter.
